Rome is burning
But we were too busy staring at the light
Children were hurting
But we were too busy arguing about the sight
Our enemies were learning
But we were too busy scrolling mindlessly with delight
My heart is yearning
But you are too busy questioning my plight
Rome was burning
And we've all been blinded by its light
