Bound By Darkness No More
The inner darkness closes in
It wraps you in warmth
Never wishing for your departure
A glimmer is seen
Far from your comfort
You reach for it desperately
Grasping only to nothing
Ripping free from the darkness
Stomping it down into the ground
Freeing yourself to reach again
Pulled back from your goal
Ensnaring you once more
Feeling that familiar warmth
Never wanting to leave again
A voice calls for you
Head shooting up
Struggling to be free once more
The pull is strong
But you are stronger
Pull pull pull
Until the bindings snap
Running for the glimmer
Finding only a small light
It warms you to your core
This feeling is new
It makes you glow
Forcing the darkness to flee
Now you find free at least
