Here I'm laying on the ground
next to the soldier, uttering his vow
"Swear that you'll stop your adversary
by building a wall with your own body"
And so he did in the name of his creator
since noone would wish to be named as a traitor.
He grasped his weapon, an iron sword
prepared to **** and keep his word
Onward he marched to the field of the battle,
waiting to fight the "evil incarnate"
but instead of encountering ferocious beasts
he espied young men with weapons like his.
