Spilling into the Sun
Like a dog licking its wounds
Like a god forever entombed
The stone won't roll away for me
Like the moss that grows on a rock
For a thousand years I've waited
Im a toad in the hole you see
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A wounded heart
Can or can't
Bare its scars so easily
Time can forgive and time can forget
Open up old wounds and bleed again
The blood of a thousand hearts bled dry
Fill red rivers rising
Into the sky like fire
Spilling into the sun
