This guy said he was [the way he was] to protect the world.
He said if he tried hard, he'd be too powerful, too persuasive.
If he hates and hurts himself, he'll be hobbled and he can protect the world from his influence.

Things won't be corrupted by his touch.
He can only enjoy freely when he can observe things
Without everything mirroring reflections of HIMSELF.
He loves every color but mirror color.
He loves himself too when he's being.
