I fell in love with a disaster
Not with you
The person who I thought you could be
Hope griped me like the warmest embrace
Holding me close giving me comfort on the coldest of nights
Vapours trailed from my mouth filling the air
As you laid their silently with your back turned
Tears warmed my pillow
Silently falling like the rain
I tried to trace my thoughts like a puzzle needing to be solved
Censoring me to be the person who I thought you would love
Your flaws were perfection
your perfection your flaws
To much was to little and to little to much
A endless game of cat and mouse
It wasn’t the love I was caught up in
Like a spiders web
Waiting to devour its pray
I was stuck in the thought of what love could of been like with you
Falling from thin air I found my realise from your spell
A foreign substance for me
A realisation that I
Deserved the world
And that’s exactly what I wasn’t to you
