It's been quiet all night
my voice has been altered
by red cigarettes
and the piano
late at night
like an infant
crying
across the sea
in france
in italy
lovers kiss
and the night is long and bright
with neon signs
fire flies in the fog by the lake
it's been
quiet all night
my lamp
doesnt say much
there's a taste of leather
in my mouth.
