Sleepy, yawny,droopy eyes
She's waiting on clearer skies.
She cries tears like the rain,
When she smiles it's like a beautiful summer plain.
Her laugh swayed like the wind.
The stars change her attitude
On a whim.
Summer eyes twinkle
Making it through the chill.
Freezing from the inside out,
Her mood is sinking in.
Save this angel, save this light.
Eventually she'll melt from fright,
Fright of living alone in her head,
If only someone would crawl in her bed.
Hold her, sing to her, cradle her head
Make her feel safe before she closes her eyes,
And hopefully when she opens them
She'll see those clear skies.
