His Nerves were firing at a rate faster than the speed of light causing him to get dizzy, his heart was pounding out of his chest thinking she can hear his heart rate over the music, his palms were as sweaty as a champion after winning his race, his brain in overdrive trying to overcome the fear of messing up and making a fool of himself, his mouth was getting dry like the Sahara Desert in the dead of summer, his stomach felt like he was going over a hill in a car, getting butterflies. They stop and sit in the car, as time passes minute by minute he builds the confidence to do what he’s wanted to do since he met her. He grabs her hand and puts it over his chest so she can feel his heart and says this is what it’s like every time I’m with you. He wants to so bad but can’t, not just yet a little longer he thinks. A slow song comes on in the background, he thought this is it, now or never. He grabs her face, looks her in her beautiful eyes that remind him of the Caribbean Sea with all their blue beauty and says you’re beautiful, he leans in... as his lips touch hers, everything that he had felt in the past hour went away. He felt nothing but the sense of accomplishment and passion for the girl of his dreams. Nothing mattered anymore. He thought to himself... I can’t believe I did it.
