May 2019
a wave of guilt washed over my face,
as I kissed the star so tender yet the moon danced on my mind;
tried to remind me how much he loves me and to let go of the star..
he knew, but he smiled it away
his patience instantly killing me inside,
his sincerity slapped me hard into reality;
that all I need is to continue living with my future, the moon,
instead of mourning my past, the star.
