adults to
use
just when
it's handy.

Stay true
to you,
it's what
you should
and
always
need to do.

Stepping outside of oneself, portraying
an illusion,
only leads
to grief, misunderstanding and
unneeded confusion.

If they
can't like you,
for you,
walk away
head high,
and know
at least that
you are true.

Let the phonies keep amusing themselves,
just watch
with a grin,
and laugh to yourself.
