Driving down Flying Point
Road today, I thought
of you and me winding
up Mount Tamalpais,
dust coating our happy lips.
Iā€™d drape my thin arms
over your hard shoulders
and rush ahead moments:
nestling in pine shade,
deep joy echoing there.
