May 2019
Some seem strong, some sing same song
But we are all a land under one throne
Others have numbers, others utter thunders
But after all the wanders there are surrenders

We engage in games and same seems life's aims
Inequality makes one a casualty but what awaits us is reality
Some win some almost, some weep some toast
But we are all defeated by death a gasp for breath despite good health

Surely we fight, we hurt and we cause pain
But the color of blood comes out the same
Fury we ignite, we instigate & bring forth of terror a reign
But Life, Love and a People ought to continue again
There is an election in my country tomorrow, and we get to choose a government to lead us for the next 5 years. I pray that it is true and fair and that the post-election period is violent-free
