May 2019
footprints tiptoed
as preceding tides,
concealed toe prints
engraved in grief.

tidal waves
abolished evidence,
intensifying
hidden proof.

coarse beaches
judged failures.

sunset met midnight,
moon embraced
imperfect granules.

tsunami couldn’t cover,
earthly disguise.

an ironic shore
taunted footsteps,
as a ludicrous heaven
adjudicated watermarks.
life has abducted me. Heaven has judged me. Yet i march on.
