Tear down the buildings,
For we can do better.
This world’s not ours
It’s been inherited, that’s all.
And who’s going to say
That we can’t just start over.

We’ll rewrite the rules
And tread our own path.
We’ll do it right this time
We’ll learn from their mistakes.
Today is a new day, a second chance.
And we’d do well to take it.

You say you want a Revolution?
Good, then start one.
A new beginning is only born
Out of the ruins of the past.
We may not last forever
But we’ll make it longer than those before us.
