Tomorrow Morning
I have made a mistake
that I must carry on
for the good of us both
if there was ever a moment
that I was sure I loved you
it was the one where I left
we both hung on the phone
sadness damp in the air
trying not to say goodbye
scaring away tomorrow morning
but now tomorrow morning has come
with no pomp and circumstance
only an empty girl alone in her head
pulling her hair
hoping for it to grow faster
