You’ve heard my story.
You’ve seen my fire.
You know the girl.
You know my world.

I’m trapped in this world.
I’m trapped in this palace.
I’m trapped in this life.
I’m trapped in the fire.

I collect pain.
I collect souls.
I collect life.
I collect death.

I talk to the dead.
I talk to myself.
I talk to a three headed dog.
I talk to her.
My companion is myself.
My companion is Cerberus.
My companion is death.
My companion is Persephone.

I walk the streets of the Underworld.
I walk the streets alone.
I walk with no one.
I walk with a pale companion.

I am the king.
I am the king of nothing.
I am the king of everything.
I am the king of the Underworld.
I wrote this as an assignment for class and wanted to share it.
