The Dog That Bites
By Mohamed Ahmed Bourhanem
Dogs are born to bite
bones ,flesh and termites.
When hunger strikes the valley
of the dead and ghosts alike.
Venom is sweet and thunder is quiet,
life is no more than a river of fights.
As a guest,i was called twice,
to celebrate the festival of death
with a crowd of poets with inborn delights.
I couldn't afford the journey of the lost trip.
I call again the spirit of ***** brains
to take me out of these military drains,
that swept out humanity of its silver pains.
