Tears of scarlet run down my face,
I can no longer feel his warm embrace,
Let go of his life now,
Kiss him once more on the brow,

Can I not see he wants to go?

Our hearts were torn through the rough bone,
We are here sitting, silent and alone,
Let me fall into some deep, wretched sleep,
Let my soul be for heaven's keep,

I am nothing without him

Hold him close with his lifeless limbs,
Dangling, while you sing leftover hymns,
Goodnight my darling, Goodbye,
I will always regret hearing you cry.
