May 2019
Green, red and blue.
Children sniffing glue.
Mouths speaking to self.
Lips cursing.
Leaves the body in a half,
and the spirit withering.
Cracks and potholes
Souls moving on soles
Desire is the fire
and fear holds us in the rear.
Such are our streets.
