Don’t answer a fool according to his folly Lest he bethinks himself jolly A fool will seek to be amused In reality he is being obtuse The fool will manipulate to get his way But don’t listen to what the fools say The Christian will seek a place in Zion The fool seeks the law through the roaring lion Engage the fool for his sake So as to point out the foolish mistake Hypocrisy is attributed to the Christian unjustly It’s the fool who is being arbitrary Fools suppress the truth and holler and rant Then turn around and accuse us of being intolerant
