Wings
The violent winds,
Keeps blowing me to places
I wonder the next
It will lead me to
would I be lost or be found
or still caught up high
Free, will I ever
From your choosing or my own
chains that were bestowed
Fly and soar I long
On my own I can endure
Wings are healed and grant
You watch me take flight
Break away from the current
that you think you hold
Mountains I will climb
Seas, oceans, and lakes to swim
the skies I will rule
Fragrant lavenders
lush green colorful meadows
my home, here I come
When you're lost
fallen and can't walk,
Find your wings
and know you can soar,
back to your home.
