I’m sorry I wasn’t good enough for you
I’m sorry I wasn’t the daughter you had hoped for
I’m sorry I didn’t fit the mold in your coloring book
You had such pretty colors picked out for me
I’m sorry I embarrass you
So much that you didn’t want to take me to events with your husband
So much that you believe him over me when he hurt me
I’m sorry your new life is so much better and I don’t fit in
Your new life without me
I’m sorry that you feel like I wronged you
By standing up and telling what happened to me
I’m sorry you feel like you need to be mean to me
To push me away before I do
I’m sorry you choose him
I’m sorry I wasn’t all that I promised to be
I’m sorry I didn’t do my chores when you asked
I’m sorry that you don’t care enough to call anymore
I”m sorry that you have to be in that big house alone
I’m sorry that you couldn’t take care of me
I’m sorry I had to do something
I’m sorry that I think of my sister more of a mother than you
I’m sorry she had to step up because you wouldn’t
I’m sorry
That I’m not
What you wanted
Needed
I’m sorry
For everything
