Destination vineyard, I sneaked out by the back exit instead
From a place that compensates for all the sweat
Started the engine and the wheels spun
Like a king rushes to the midwife's home on news of a son

A day to remember, a sabbath to recall
Wind blew on my face and it was fresh
With a kiss of hope

Didn't see it coming like a lightning's flash
But enjoyed every moment like staring at a shooting star
If likened to rain, then I would need Noah's Ark
If to sunshine, then a rainbow that never fades fast

Bedtime stories like a granny shares before night
Faces were only seen by the moonlight
Gazing at the Orion's Belt in heaven
No one would leave until eleven

Preceded by months of planting and weeding
Like a farmer gathers yields at harvest time after spring
The aftermath of a long sail to the center of the sea
In anticipation, a fisherman's excitment at net fishing
