A hawk
Just seen from the car window
Perched

On the telephone wires
Where I can
Still hear your voice

Ringing in my ears calling
From France
Where the weather is warmer

And there isn't this hard snow
Holding back the spring
The shivering petals of bluebells

Gathering under a black maple
In the rain of what begins
And ends in the month of April
