We'd halloo and then chase down the years,
for each step we took,
our eyes opened to the changes,
how I hate those mulched  leaves
there’s a certain funereal fatigue inherent,
orange visibility workers  monotonously arrive
stripping those old houses,
but those Removal vans
that just kills the conversation.
