We are all lost at some point
Scattered across the sea.

We scream and thrash,
Hoping someone hears our plight.
If only we stopped to look around
And see land was always in sight.

We look behind for any sign
That some saving grace will show.
If only we looked not where we'd been,
But for somewhere we'd yet to know.

We shall brave the storms
And treasure the sun.
We ride the waves
As they ebb and flow.

It matters not in the end
From where you came,
And only where you'll go.
