I have a past...but I don't live there anymore.
From what I know there is much more for me in store.
When I looked back I saw a world of memories, dreams, and pain
A broken record, a big ugly stain.
But now I look back and see that everything that happened
to that little girl so long ago who has awakened,
Has become the stronger version of her
And even though it might just be a blur
I'm not broken,
or forgotten.
For I am who I am
Not who you think I am.
Not who you want me to be
I am me
