What I see will also be enough for me
Ignore the competition
Admire what you have achieved
But are we ever really satisfied?
When I compare myself to every girl that walks by
Wondering why I haven’t slept with more guys
There’s nothing you can say to me
Because I already hate myself with every fiber of my being
What nourishes me is destroying me
Striving to be pretty so everyone will idolize me
That's what's important to me

Who is succeeding?
The girl with the fake tan
The person with the best Facebook page
Look into my eyes again
And tell me if you still see blankness
Tell me that I’m worthless

When reality is we are just looking in the mirror
And facing our own worst nightmare
Tell me I am pretty again
And you will fuel my addiction

But you can’t stay
Because who knows what all the other girls will say
Truth is you’re not good for my image

I’m not sick I’m just selfish
Just like everyone around me
I know I look good, but I won’t say anything
Keeping up some made up problem for a little bit of attention

How can you blame me?
I’m a girl, I can’t have ambition
So **** me when my prime is over
Because frankly my life has been quite boring
