GAZING

The sky is the limit they’d say Up I would look A blue abyss of clouds and clarity Or a dark nights sky, spattered with stars I would love nothing more than to be one with those stars They’re much deeper Omniscient if you will Than the translucent clouds admired at daybreak Countless songs, poems, and metaphors have been crafted regarding their beautiful complexity Yet here I remain Wishing,once more, upon a fateful star
