Swinging on the swings,
Like little kids, you and I,
We're kinda messed up and a bit gross too,
But I wanna stay kids with you,
Don't wanna be working-class just yet.

Who else would it be?
I can't see?
I can't understand?
I can't cry again tonight.

Curl up in my lap,
Sleep away the nightmares,
I'll keep you safe,
Inside our playground tonight, my dear,
It's freezing outside so stick with me,
By the way, I'm in love with you.

Who else would it be?
I can't see?
I can't understand?
I can't cry again tonight.
