The Helical Stairs
The land of death and panic,
is ruled by rage and havoc.
Worthy courage brought to heel,
by thoughts of seething anger.
This land is populated,
by all who went in violence.
Upon there way to head stone farm,
with strange a crop to harvest.
With a yield that parallels,
the seeds they buried so.
Into spring and out snow
the ****** seasons go.
So out into the moonlight,
and far from divine light
Forever into darkness a reflection in the night.
Is manner ours, with cost of sin.
Of what we daily do.
To gate so sealed,
with sin now weighed,
Of things we can't undo.
Inspired by Dante's inferno.
