I am thirsty in being drip fed security and love.
Standing steadily on the verge of starvation with other people trying to nourish me with scraps and ends.
Harder is harbouring the hurt some days. Finding impossiblities in simply maintaining maintaining a heartbeat.

Why silence my anger?
Hiding behind the curtains of lies and questions.
A man I knew is replaced with a glass *****.
This monster composed of fragile emotions.
Serving selfishly and inexpensively yet maintaining I remain grateful.
