Coming out of the darkness that held me down,

No strength to fight, no love in sight.

Hoping and wishing the pain would go away,

But it was clear as day as we all say,

Nothing could stop the tears from falling down my face.

I searched for love but none was there,

My heart was broken nobody would ever care.

Stress and confusion clouded my mind,

Friends and family, I thought I had were unkind.

Crying all through the night,

No will to fight,

Depression consumed my mind,

No kind thought to find,

Wanting to leave this painful world behind.

Thoughts of suicide every day,

Forgetting to take time and pray,

Blaming all my problems on other people,

Never taking the time to solve them.

No appreciation, nobody to understand,

Nobody to talk too, no one who can make this pain go away,
