Everybody's searching for a little heaven
On this earth
Everybody's scrambling for a little quiet
A little piece
Of it all
Get a little taste
Without the consequence
Good lord
They all want that little bite on the side
Not giving one good *******
About the lessons their mama taught
Everybody wants a little slice
To roll that dice
Be the catcher in that rye
Before they claim it
They'll be *******
They'll all crumble
They'll learn the hard way
Why it just ain't right
