Again

Again, I’m all alone again

Just waiting for her smile to shine

Birds, singing in the rain

Carrying the pain I hide

Tears, are the one and only means

To believe I’m still alive

What was life like beside you

With a precious baby for two

Preventing me from falling down

Every time I look at you

I can feel my life is true

I smile and pretend I’m still alive

Your eyes, your sparkling shining eyes

Whispering, "I wish I could be"

Free, baby set me free

Come and stay with me tonight

Years, I've waited all these years

For you and for my dream to rise

Again, I’m all alone again

Just waiting for her smile to shine

Birds, singing in the rain

Carrying the pain I hide

Your eyes, your sparkling shining eyes

Whispering, "I wish I could be"

Free, baby set me free

Come and stay with me tonight

Years, I waited all these years

For you and for my dream to rise
