The tulips of my old life
Used to bloom each spring
And though I love my new life,
I have found myself longing
For those tulips,
But most of all,
I have found myself longing
For a family home
A mother, a father
A sister a brother,
β€œThe perfect mixture”
I thought.
Not so perfect after all, I guess
I miss the beauty of them, they may have been one of the only beauties of that life.
