What if God Was just a dude Sitting in front of the church As the pastor preached his words?
What if God Is just chewing a gum While you close your eyes And send your prayers?
What if God Was a hipster who loved jazz And someone everybody loved To hang out with
What if we could just See god? Maybe life would be a lot easier, Or maybe more confusing
What if God was Something you could hug? Maybe I’d run to him And tell everything I think you won’t get
Maybe I’d tell him How exhausted I am of this world And it’s norms Maybe I’d stay with him while it lasts Or Maybe I’d ask to go with him Telling him it won’t hurt If I would go with him A bit earlier than my deadline he set.
