where keep thou thy place of lodge
within the eyes of the lord
beyond a master fair
a secret there is
the chosen few declare
among thine own brethren
whom, ere thou, a servant
work, thine own way of prayer
many know, tho  nay  hast knelt
in  thine own temple
where even solomon dwelt
