Zombie

maybe more dead walk the earth

 

than we’re willing to admit

 

when your heart is just a rotten

 

slab of meat that hangs in your chest

 

and you struggle to rise each day

 

just dragging through the motions of life

 

your limbs heavy with sorrow

 

..are you really alive?
