Bird that has been caught during her play
Wings clipped for her not to fly away
kept as a pet no time to soar
while peering thru her cage life had more to bore

The more time past came comfort in her cage
time spent free the more he fears of running away
Poetic songs she once sang the night away
Now lost in the stars her dreams so far strayed

Sad became the songs she once had sang
So restless,  her heart couldn't bear to clang
Once she danced among her friends who sang n Coo
Slowly noticing she had inside been split in two

The monster inside came to take her soul
to giveup ones lost causes, tell her she was no longer in control
So her shed of tears pushed aside. her duties now changed
the question was she meant to forever hide in the shadows again?
