Whatever happened to the sorceress?
The narratives leave her story unresolved -
Upon the Altar reposes the sacred Host
Before the Altar kneel graced penitents
But did the sorceress find mercy too
Or does she still cringe in her crusted cave
In a gully before the ******* fires
Whose incense is the writhing smoke of Hell
Whatever happened to her life of blight -
Was she too wakened by that same true Light?
