I owe you a myriad of laughter for each teardrop shed,
Embracing you tightly, erasing fear's thread.
Never intended to evoke tears, my dear,
A fool, I neglected the flower, held too cavalier.
Especially blooms precious and exceedingly rare,
Let any threat approach, let them dare.
For I'll vigilantly guard you, always be there,
Immersing you in love, pervasive and fair.
Anticipating the kiss upon your lips, fingers through your hair,
Enveloped in an embrace that lingers in night's air.
Observing you, composing a melodic song,
An ode to love that renders me strong.
In separation, life falters and seems askew,
Beside your heart, my homeland, my true view.
Where I belong, where love thrives strong,
A ballad of us, an eternal, harmonious song.
