Sleep (in its best form)
Lying in bed,
slowly sinking and rising with your chest,
peeking at the too bright sun through my blinds.
The tingling of my entire left arm
as i have it draped, like the curtains I don't have,
over your sleeping body.
Listening to the steady drumming of your heart,
wishing you would wake up,
just so I could kiss your lips once more.
Being perfectly comfortable
in a sleepy sunset afternoon.
O.K
Ever since I've slept with you, my bed has felt cold and lonely. <3
