How they glow
Take their time
Form their rows
Far away
In a distant land
Surrounding us
Like water on sand
Not reachable
But close enough to yearn for

We travel from home for
We leave to discover

That crushes  dreams
Our hope for change
In new perspective
So then we wish
We would've just stared
