The last breath rattles
in your ribs. The soul
escapes the body --
or so some say.
But the soul survives
only draped in
celestial raiment.

Socrates proclaimed
that death is just a deep
sleep or an introduction
to afterlife society.
Either way, you have
nothing to fear.
Immortality reigns.
