The Valley of Sorrows (Has Been Defeated)
Moaning cadavers tug at me
Watching me flounder around their grasp
My only goal is to flee
The sun fades away
And the dead come to life
This is no place to stay
The moon and the stars
Are non-existent, no hope
Not even the darkness can cover my scars
But there is a power within
I see her face and push through
I want to see her at the end
Oh and I can see her face
It's so clear in my dreams
Whilst I drift among empty space
The tunnel slowly fades to dust
The light shows once more
To find your love is a must
And here I stand
Looking into your eyes so beautiful
Just as I had planned
The Valley that lays behind me
Is in my past, now entirely defeated
And I'm glad you could find me
