He Doesn't Want Your Love
Come.
Have a seat!
Tell me your greatest
hopes and dreams
Confide in me all your secrets
Drown me in your sorrows
Let me be a shoulder
to cry on
Let me hug you, let me kiss you
Heck, I'll even stay the night!
Oh, my darling
You know I'll treat you right
But when the nights grow colder
and morning comes too soon...
When you realize that you love me
as we lay beneath the moon
I'll be gone within a second
and if you wonder why;
Just think a little further
But don't forget, I'm just another "guy"
Oh goodness, oh dear...
Didn't you hear?
You were never meant to love me
No, no, no, no.
Where was your head at?!
Oh, god no.
I'm sorry, my lady,
*but I never wanted that.
