RUN FROM TOMORROW

There is a me inside me I wish the world to see.

It is the me I wish could be free of pain and sorrow.

I know why I wish to die.

Why can’t it be that I be set free of pain and sorrow?

Not a knife or gun could make me run as pain has done.

I run from pain and sorrow as I do from tomorrow.

I wish tomorrow not to come.

I wish it to be over now, today, so here sorrow will stay.

I wish no more games to play.

Why can’t darkness forever be here?

No one seems to care.

No one seems to know if tomorrow comes on sorrow will go.

Stop sorrow today and again here sorrow will stay.

Run from tomorrow I plead, don’t let sorrow make you bleed.Kill the day today.

Make sorrow go away.

Run from tomorrow, I’m dead because of pain and sorrow.
