If my life was a rainy day
And my memories a puddle
I would splash and play
In days of yesterday
And mould new ones on the mudhill

If I should get wet
I could just let
Myself out to dry
For the wonder is to reminisce
And never wonder why

If there was a time so sublime
I need just grab my shovel
To stick it down
Within the ground
And save it for when troubled

If my life was a rainy day
And my memories a puddle
I would not choose
A pair of boots
But a boat made out of puzzles

To sail away
To newer days
Where rainbows never die
For the wonder is to reminisce
And never wonder why
